About Hayley has been dancing since the age of four. Her dancing career began with Ballet and then, over the years, moved over to Freestyle, Latin American and Ballroom. About • Ryan Hammond is an undefeated South African Latin and Freestyle Champion • British South American Showdance Champion • Winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2013 • Licentiate Qualified in Freestyle (IDTA) and Latin American (SADTA) Ryan and Angelique teamed up in 2015 and travelled the country performing and teaching. Together they are: • Undefeated All South African Open Professional Latin American Champions • World Exhibition Finalists • Rumba in the Jungle Professional Latin American Champions • Professionals on Dancing With The Stars SA 2018 For the past 10 months they have been touring the country with an exciting show called “Rhythm of the Night”, which will be coming to an end on 25 August at The Barnyard in Menlyn. About • 2008 – 2010 This is when his dance journey began. With the inspiration of Michael Jackson and Step Up he decided to join a local dance school in Amanzimtoti. He did styles such as Ballroom & Latin American, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hop. In his first year received the Dancer of the Year award and had the privilege of joining a competing Hip Hop Crew. • 2010 – 2012 His original studio had closed its doors so the Hip Hop Crew decided to open their own Hip Hop and B-boy dance studio. They performed at many shows and events including Sneddon Theatre, Grahamstown Arts Festival as well as competitive events. • 2017 – 2019 Due to injuries in both knees, Faron was off the dance floor for at least 4 years. His journey then resumed at Dance Cafè in Johannesburg, where he became a part time teacher of Ballroom & Latin American, Line Dancing, Country Couples, Wedding couples as well as Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. Gaining experience in hosting gigs and Socials on a weekly basis. He competed in multiple competitions for Pro-Am Country Couples and Ballroom & Latin American, as well as achieved Intermediate level in Line Dancing. • 2019 – Present He has since relocated to Pretoria and joined The Beverley Hammond Dance School. He is in the process of completing his SADTA Teachers Qualifications in Ballroom & Latin American.
About • Megan completed her Degree in Education at the University of the Free State in 2015 and is currently a Grade-1 teacher at New Hope School for children with cerebral disabilities • At the age of 11 she enrolled in her first Modern dance class and soon discovered that dancing is what she wanted to do! In the same year she started with Freestyle, Tap, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics. • She danced competitively for seven years, reaching Championship status in Freestyle and Disco • Licentiate Qualified in Freestyle under the SADTA (2017) • Associate Modern (2014) SABOD • Hip Hop (2013) SABOD Megan’s love for children combined with her passion for dancing lead her to teaching dance. She has been teaching dance for the past seven years. She embraces the uniqueness of each and every dancer that crosses her path. It is Megan’s dream to make all of them passionate about their dancing in order for her to develop them to their full potential

About Shannon started tap dance at the age of 10 and has never looked back. Going on to receive her teachers qualifications in Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics & Disco with IDF. During her competition journey she achieved several accolades specifically in Tap & Lyrical. She then went on to receive certification from TDA for Musical Theatre, Tap and Hip Hop. She was also part of a production group for ABS productions. I truly love teaching dance and improving the abilities of my students. I am passionate about learning and growth, and bringing out the best in my students. I believe every opportunity is a learning opportunity, even if you learn how not to do
